Key Responsibilities

  • Lead QA Activities: Oversee testing across multiple software development projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality releases.
  • Test Strategy & Planning: Define test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria based on business and technical requirements.
  • Automation Ownership: Design and maintain automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Defect Management: Track bugs, prioritize fixes, and coordinate with development teams.
  • Quality Metrics: Establish KPIs for test coverage, defect density, and test cycle efficiency.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for test cases, test results, and QA processes.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing
  • Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
  • Experience in API testing using Postman or REST-assured
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
